Jason Baltov embarked on his martial arts journey at the tender age of 10, diving into the rigorous world of Kyokushin Karate. Over the past 30+ years, Jason has honed his skills, becoming a seasoned practitioner and an influential figure in the Kyokushin community.

For over two decades, Jason has successfully managed several dojos, imparting his knowledge and passion for Kyokushin Karate to countless students.

His most notable endeavour, Illawarra Kyokushin Karate Dojo, has produced numerous national champions, cementing his reputation as a renowned successful martial arts teacher in Australia.

Professional Life and Community Focus


Residing and working in Sydney, Australia, Jason attributes much of
his professional success to the discipline and resilience instilled in him through martial arts. His current focus is on supporting vulnerable individuals, particularly children. Through karate, Jason has seen firsthand how the practice can transform young lives, helping them grow into strong, confident, and successful adults.

Competitive Achievements


Jason’s competitive spirit saw him excel in full-contact karate from a young age.

Throughout his competitive years, he clinched four
national titles, showcasing his prowess and dedication.

His talent and determination also took him abroad, particularly to Japan, where he competed in world tournaments.

A highlight of his career was
placing 2nd in the 2006 Matsushima World Weighted Tournament.

Kickboxing Success


At the age of 20, Jason expanded his martial arts repertoire by
venturing into kickboxing.

His foray into this discipline was met with success, as he secured both state and national titles, further demonstrating his versatility and skill in martial arts.
